FlowCorps Mat Pilates Audition Instructions
Thank you for scheduling your in-person Mat Pilates audition at FlowCorps! This is your chance to show us how you lead with rhythm, presence, and clarity—moving with your class, in sync with the music, and delivering cues that land with precision.
Below you’ll find a script, audio track (X You - Radio Edit), and video example. The script and audio may be used verbatim, or—as shown in the video—you may adapt the language slightly to match your authentic coaching voice, as long as you can execute clearly and confidently.
All highlighted time-stamps in the script must be honored. These markers are non-negotiable and indicate where each movement or transition must align with the music. For example, the hold with the class’s right leg lifted to 90 degrees must hit on the beat drop at 00:17 in the track.
You must maintain a steady 2-count pace throughout the sequence. Speak in time with the movement, and layer in cues outside of the two-count beat structure while keeping your body precisely on tempo.
During your audition:
You must physically perform the full sequence as you teach it. Mat Pilates instructors don’t always stay on the mat during class—but for this audition, you’re expected to model pacing and control from start to finish.
We’re looking for instructors who can move with intention, speak with clarity, and hold the energy of the room—delivering strong verbal cues without losing the beat in their body.
If you have questions as you prepare, you’re encouraged to schedule a time to speak with Nicole. Shoot her a text at 303-956-0924 to arrange a call
We’re excited to see how you bring our programming to life. We’re here to support you!
